Glacier Cooler Broken Faucet Elbow Fitting
Replacement part number is PLC-C000155
Glacier Cooler compressor cycles on and off.
Test and replace relay and overload as required. Note: Relay and overload are specific to compressor used. Identify compressor by model located on side of compressor than select proper relay overload located in service manual.
Glacier Cooler not producing hot water.
Most older models equipped with high limit thermostat that will trip if no water in hot tank. Press reset on side of hot tank and hot water will be available within 15 minutes. If heat limiter trips again hot tank may have calcium build up. Check hot tank drain tube for white particles indicating calcium. Hot tank will need to be descaled.
If high limit switch did not trip a technician will need to check all hot controls to determine root cause of failure.
Glacier Cooler Faucet has broken off.
Glacier coolers use two different faucet styles male thread and female thread. Part numbers for female thread are located in Glacier E service manual and male thread faucet part numbers in Glacier D service manual.
Replacing Glacier Hot Tanks on EPA Model Coolers.
Changes to hot tanks where made 5 times. Before ordering replacement hot tanks consult with tech service to insure proper model hot tank is ordered. Acquiring Glacier serial number is a must.
